As an artist, Munoz, needed to combine his sensibilities which were creative with a utilitarian twist to blend a sculptural shoe that could be worn, adored, admired, with the ethos of sustainability. The medium is the message, hand crafted with leather, natural dying, including metal adornments manually sculpted. As one who has struggled with a shoe compulsion my whole life, the quote from Ya Magazine, “…there are touches of Magical Realism, Baroque Reminiscences, Anachronisms. The collections can include seashells, antique furniture legs as heels, mother of pearl baby buttons, pearls, old photos…” the pieces speak to a base, primal commitment to honor the artistic endeavor that I believe is essential to the basics of dressing like the individual we were born to be. Shoes like this are transformative, despite the sad fact that I’ve not own my own pair. I’ve always found them used, somewhere in-between here and there, and tragically, never in my size. Yet hope springs eternal.
 Materials are all natural sourced and ecologically sustainable. I can say Mv is essentially a couture collection of shoes and accessories. Each piece is hand crafted completely from scratch, from the design on the selected last, the pattern making, the treatments on vegetable leathers, the natural dyings, even the metals and woods are manually sculpted, and at last, but not least, everything is handled with love and sensibility in our own atelier studio in the beautiful Barcelona.
