This is a particularly beautiful vintage Indian necklace that I just acquired. The cotton yarn holding the silver pieces is a wonderful, dusty rose and the balance of silver exquisite. A traditional, tribal necklace from Rajasthan - an area that is known for a rich, diverse cultural tradition in the arts, clothing and, of course, jewelry.
The triangular pendant, decorated with embossed patterns in the center. This necklace is constructed from various elements, incorporating different shaped pieces of silver.
Measurements are 16” in length - the pendant is 2.25 inches wide.
