Every so often I find an unusual, handmade piece that could be art, folk art, primitive art wether it’s categorized as sculpture or whimsical outsider art. I’m not into categories but this beautiful and yes, strange - no, not super strange piece can and does fit into many categories as a piece of art! She’s a nude, handmade, primitive, whimsical, and charismatic! She’s both subtle and provocative!
The artist is unknown. The decade in which she manifested unclear. Yet she stands tall, with glowing faux crystal eyes ready to manifest the earthiness of her existence.
Measures 16 3/4” in height, 3 3/4” across her ample hips while her arms measure 3 1/2” long.
