A rustic Madonna hand carved out of a piece of wood and hand painted. She wears a blue cape like garment and a what was once a long red dress. She clutches her hands in prayer and sadly looks down. Behind her is a carved, diamond shaped area that seems to surround her although does not completely envelop her.
We are not sure where she’s from but she appears to be of Latin origin. Really challenging to decipher and not worth guessing.
Measurements are 8 1/4" by 4" wide. The base measures 3 3/4" across by 3".
