Wether outsider art or expressionistic, this is a breathtaking piece made of wood, painted with, I’m not sure what, a mix plaster of Paris and paper mache - creating a modern angel with wide stretched wings. In monochromatic tones...I framed it to appear floating within the frame that has the same tonal range as the piece itself.
There is a very small piece of the collage that is missing in the lower bottom right which adds to the significance of it's special history!
