Straight from the hills of Silverlake, just northeast of downtown Los Angeles. Sequestered in a mid-century home - the painter, who worked in advertising and graphics for various high profile magazines in the 60s and 70s. During off hours he took to his paintbrushes and knocked out some amazing paintings.
The frame is a warm gold (original) wood and the painting has a few knicks on one side, after all, it’s been around! Magnificent, even if the artist was only a part time artist!
