Chinese Neolithic Stone Mask

This piece is a bit of a mystery although we will begin going into a deep dive researching this piece.

It comes from China and although the tag did Neolithic, I cannot confirm that.

The stone appears to be jade but I will be confirming that very soon.

Either way it’s a subtlety magnificent piece that echos another time and place.

The Chinese were the first to do many things and their artistry prevails in whatever they do.
