A wonderful antique Chinese footed bowl with lid. The amethyst, carnelian and white jade stones are woven onto a floral giving it a poetic delicacy. Crafted from pewter, giving it a silver color that reveals its history which most likely dates back to approximately 1880-1940, makes it a true antique and a great addition to any Asian collection. The bowl's origin can be traced back to China, adding to its exotic appeal. The size is approximately 5.25" diameter and 4” tall. Interior dimension is approximately 4.75" diameter. Although the maker is unknown, the craftsmanship is evident in every detail. There are minor scratches and a minor dent, shown in one of the photos, confirming its historical authenticity. So it's not perfect but pretty darn beautiful!
