Vintage Guy Vidal Long Earrings

Vintage Guy Vidal Long Earrings

Vintage from the 1960s

Material: pewter

Guy Vidal was known to be a well respected Modernist jewelry designer. His work started out in the 1960s-1970s where he started creating his own unique jewelry pieces. The first pieces were handcrafted and signed by him with a marker. All his work is known to be quite unique in the way he utilizes different shapes and patterns which creates a deconstruct and construct design, which in other words can be called “brutalism”.

These stunning earrings are absolutely perfect! They are made out of pewter. They hang long on the ear, but not too long! They seem to have little balls in the center of the earring. In my opinion I believe they were meant to be clip on earrings but now have been used as fish hook style earrings. They pair nice with anything, and sure make a subtle appearance. They are elegant and would look gorgeous for any event, or everyday wear.
