Circa mid-20th century pair of wooden Anglo-Indian style chairs with woven seats and brass bells. It has turned spindles that are also featured throughout.

Anglo-Indian furniture is not really common due to the fact that it is not well-known. The British East India Co. created many industries in many ports by the 1700s. The results of their vision were furniture that consisted of a blend of cultures such as Indian woods and British teak that came together to form these marvelous pieces.

The chairs consist of an intricate designed carved throughout the whole chair. They are seen in the borders of the chair. The seating is made out of cane and is sturdy for all individuals to sit on.
