This unsigned painting was most likely painted during the 1950s. It has all the hallmark indications, the colors, the style of painting, the style of the young woman and even, most likely, the frame. There's a couple scuff marks, one in the middle of her back, the others on the frame, most likely having been stored without much protection. Never the less, it's a compelling piece that does stop one in their tracks. At least it stopped me!
